The Ethics & Compliance, Manager will be a key member of the Ethics, Compliance & Sustainability (ECS) team, serving as an ethics and compliance expert to help drive the delivery of our objectives for the ECS Program. Reporting to the Director, Ethics and Compliance, this role is critical in ensuring a fair, consistent, and compliant approach to handling employee concerns and workplace issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
You'll advise on the application of our global compliance program requirements and promote our culture of trust and integrity.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s ethics and compliance program in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Monitor the effectiveness of compliance policies, procedures, and training, making updates as needed.
- Manage the Code of Trust (aka the Code of Conduct) ensuring that it is up to date, understood, and enforced.
- Oversee third party risk and sanctions compliance programs - conduct due diligence and screening of customers, partners, vendors, and suppliers to verify compliance with company policies and applicable financial crime regulations. Perform sanctions screening against government watchlists (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN) and elevate potential matches as appropriate.
- Support organizational growth by coordinating and providing oversight of compliance inputs for RFPs, due diligence questionnaires, and customer inquiries.
- Assist in developing and managing an enterprise-wide compliance learning and engagement program. Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), track participation, and drive awareness and accountability through engaging training and communications initiatives.
- Manage the intake, triage, and investigation of ethics and compliance concerns reported through the helpline, email, or other channels.
- Gather, analyze, and present compliance-related data. Create dashboards and reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) to track trends, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making. Maintain compliance records and prepare periodic reports for leadership and regulators.
- Leverage tools such as Power BI (or similar analytics platforms) to generate insights, visualize risks, and support continuous improvement of compliance processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees on complex employee relations issues.
- Keep up to date on ethics & compliance regulations and policy developments and ensure stakeholders are aware of applicable requirements.
- Passionate about building a culture of trust and integrity.
- Able to maintain independence and confidentiality of sensitive information and have a high degree of ethics and integrity.
- Experienced managing and overseeing a Third Party Risk program.
- Experience with sanctions screening reviews and related due diligence.
- Excellent interviewing, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Experienced with compliance training and awareness activities.
- Comfortable conducting internal presentations.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, curious and creative, with a sense of humor.
- Super organized with the ability to manage projects concurrently while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience overseeing ethics and compliance programs.
- 5+ years’ experience managing third party risk programs.
