Distribution Warehouse Manager - 2nd Shift role at RJ Schinner Co., Inc.

Full-time | Monday-Friday | Second Shift, 3:00pm - 12:00am, or until completion.

• Directly responsible for the oversight of all Warehouse Associates and Supervisors, and processes within the distribution center, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and product movement to ensure optimal warehouse performance.
• Monitor warehouse activities and KPIs, and provide timely resolution of issues or concerns.
• Schedule and review warehouse management reports and take timely action to address issues.
• Work with Operations Manager to monitor and communicate appropriate operational metrics, including staffing plans and meeting labor budgets.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility and manage a regular maintenance plan for equipment, vehicles, and building including building security.
• Certify new employees on forklift equipment and train on processes and procedures.
• Perform all Warehouse Associates responsibilities as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Establish, implement, and update the cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and notify the Operations Manager of high quantity and/or high value inventory adjustments.
• Work with Operations Manager and Human Resources to develop and implement training materials and standardized work processes for all departments within the operation.
• Participate in training, development, and cross-training of staff as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment
• 5+ years ERP/WMS experience
• 3-5 years inventory management experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse processes and procedures
• Proven ability to identify problems quickly and implement appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A sense of urgency
• Keen attention to detail
• Effective ability to adjust to differing personalities
• Expert ability to build positive relationships within a diverse team

• An associate degree
• 3+ years forklift experience preferred
