Director of Sales – Bold Catering & Design
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth while embodying our mission, values, and culture. This senior leadership role reports directly to the General Manager and oversees the Assistant Director of Sales, Catering Sales Managers, and Designers.
What You’ll Do- Lead & Mentor:
Set the tone for excellence by inspiring, guiding, and holding the sales team accountable. You’ll coach, develop, and grow team members through regular 1:1s, training, and performance feedback. - Build Relationships:
Cultivate and expand connections with top clients, referral sources, and venue partners to drive repeat business and elevate our presence in the market. - Drive Results:
Establish clear goals, track performance, and help your team achieve—and exceed—sales and production benchmarks. - Own the Process:
Develop structured, scalable sales processes and training programs that empower your team to sell strategically and consistently. - Balance Leadership & Sales:
Lead from the front by managing key accounts, negotiating high-value opportunities, and setting the pace for success. - Elevate the Brand:
Partner with our Marketing team to ensure our brand presence, communications, and campaigns fuel lead generation and align with company goals.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role managing and coaching a high‑performing sales team.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales goals, mentoring others, running effective team meetings, and creating alignment across departments.
- Deep knowledge of consultative sales, training, client and venue relationship management, and data‑driven strategy.
- Strong business acumen, with comfort interpreting sales data, forecasting, and driving growth initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Caterease a plus), sales reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in hospitality, catering, or events preferred.
- Frequent standing and walking
- Prolonged periods sitting and working on office machinery
- Occasional stooping, kneeling and crawling
- Occasional ascending or descending of ladders, stairs and/or ramps
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and rotation of the spine, elbows and wrists
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs
- Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words and in the process of communicating with clients and employees
- Constant use of POS/Computer systems
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
