Allison-Smith Company is seeking a qualified Project Manager who can perform at a high level on complex projects.
Job DescriptionYou will assist the lead project manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe project delivery. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Lead Project Manager in the following tasks:
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Supervise and coordinate electrical teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Plan, develop, and track overall and short-term project task schedules to ensure production
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Communicate project status to clients, stakeholders, and senior management
- Address and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during construction
- Review and approve work plans, change orders, and submittals
- Recent graduate with electrical engineering or related field engineering, or construction management degree, or minimum 3 years related experience
- Comprehensive four-to-five-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program with Project Supervision experience is an alternate educational/experience qualification
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Project Managers will be encouraged and trained to develop an entrepreneurial business approach to managing the electrical construction of a variety of commercial, mission critical, and industrial projects.
