Description

OVERVIEW:

* Manages day to day operations of the department.

* Develops and manages the department's budget for specific projects and activities.

* Supervise staff and provides on-going performance feedback and addresses problems; hires, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills.

* Manages relationships with vendors and/or outside consultants.

* Propose, evaluates, and implements special projects such as new system implementation and business process re-engineering.

* Directs and coordinates long range planning and evaluating; revises and implements written procedures.

* Acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects.

* Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science, business or a related field.

* Five years project planning or related experience or a Master's degree with 3 years previous project planning or related experience.
