About the role

As an EHS Business Partner
, you’ll be a key driver in shaping a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture across our organisation. This role goes beyond compliance—it’s about embedding safety and wellbeing into everything we do. You’ll partner with stakeholders to develop and continuously improve our HSE systems, ensuring they not only meet legislative requirements but also enhance operational performance.

Working closely with all functions of our organisation, you’ll champion proactive risk management, maintain data integrity, and deliver process excellence. Your expertise will help us create a workplace where people thrive, risks are managed before they arise, and sustainability is part of our everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and legal obligations across all operational areas.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments and corrective action implementation.
  • Coordinate health and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive workplace safety culture.
  • Maintain and update safety documentation, procedures, risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety observations.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training and awareness programs across multiple manufacturing and warehouse sites.
  • Assist with all EHS data entry including End of Month reporting, and data trending.
  • Administer and maintain EHS and operational systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, and user training.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports to support decision-making on key risk themes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, both within the EHS team and the wider organisation.
  • Lead and govern EHS systems including contractor management and incident and hazard reporting.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures by working closely with operations teams across the Victorian sites to understand safe work processes.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure timely support and escalation of any injury or key Near Miss incidents to National EHS Manager.
  • Work with site leaders to ensure that EHS accountabilities are communicated and understood by all employees.
