How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Senior Flight Operations Industry Representative-Asia is involved in day-to-day tactical support of International Working Group as well as collaborative strategic decision making with the IWG Program Administrator and associated IWG Team members (see IWG Con Ops).
Responsibilities include:
Represents Delta in a manner consistent with its core values.
Coordinates information and meeting coverage with Flight Control and Fleet regional representatives
Participates in RCG/WG/TF meetings and periodic conference calls.
Shares meeting dates, agendas, summaries, and supporting papers as soon as practicable.
Conducts RCG/WG/TF meeting pre-briefs/debriefs as required by the OAC member or the IWG Program Manager. Member briefings should highlight:
Operational impact(s) or operational benefit(s)
Action(s) required and timeline(s)
Efficiencies lost or efficiencies to be gained.
Opportunities to form/build relationships.
Opportunities to raise the bar or otherwise lead and strengthen the Delta brand.
Submits completed IWG meeting reports, as required.
Facilitates cross pollination (organically promulgate industry information to Delta stakeholders with a “need to know.”)
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Technical Pilot-Line Operations
Representation will be for IATA/ICAO working groups in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Examples include:
Asia-Pacific and North Asia Regional Coordination Group (ASPAC/NA RCG)
Technical Operations Working Group - Asia Pacific (TOWG - ASPAC)
Asia-Pacific Environmental and Sustainability Working Groups
IATA Asia-Pacific Regional Airline Members Forum
Asia-Pacific Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APANPIRG)
Regional Aviation Safety Group - Asia Pacific (RASG-APAC)
APAC Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) Working Group
APAC Aviation Security Panel (AVSEC)
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
