IT Project Manager, Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Seeking an effective Program/Project Manager with demonstrated project management and leadership experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
Leads and directs larger, more complex program(s) in support of program and overall strategy.
Provides direction to project staff assigned to projects and stages within program.
Establishes governance and drives all aspects to ensure that assigned program(s) is implemented, accepted, and operating effectively.
Translates corporate objectives into program objectives and practices.
Serves as a liaison and builds bridges and relationships with sponsoring executives and among different groups within and outside of technology and operations.
Works directly with the business line to understand business objectives and strategies related to project priorities.
Consolidates projects under program-level umbrella to provide focal point for communications.
Manages communications regarding project and program management practices that create clear, concise requirements in program and project functionality, resourcing, budgets, and timings.
Oversees assigned projects from initial concept through final implementation utilizing approved project methodology/tools and within enterprise standards and guidelines.
Constructs a program reporting and tracking framework and benchmarks.
Provides oversight to projects to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule. Escalates issues and risks to appropriate level.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 10 years' experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
- Working experience in:
System/Software development life cycle (SDLC) - Extensive experience in:
- Document management
- MS Project
- Subject matter expert in:
- Project control and reporting
- Project planning and organization
- IT project management
Certification PMP, CPM. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Defines, plans and implements the goals and milestones associated with all application development or system projects. Oversees the analysis, design, execution and support of all assigned projects, including resource planning, team selection, performance appraisals, and budgets. Formal project management will also entail the usage of a standardized project management methodology to guide all projects in a consistent, organized and reliable manner.
Requirements
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for workflow management
- Experience working with remote teams via Mural or Miro for collaboration
- Extensive experience in Technical project management
- MS Project
- PMP
