Summary

The ICBA Think

TECH Accelerator program continues the successful collaboration between promising fintechs and community bank leaders to drive innovation in support of ICBA’s mission to create and promote an environment where community banks flourish. The Vice President, Innovation Programs will work directly in support of the organization’s innovation initiatives, leading portfolio management activities for ICBA Think

TECH Accelerator companies and program development in supporting ICBA’s overall innovation strategy. This role will work with the portfolio of companies in the ICBA Think

TECH Accelerator program to ensure maximum success in working with the ICBA and its members.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary ICBA point of contact for Think

    TECH Accelerator companies.
  • Manage day‑to‑day relationships with the companies and support them through the process of becoming a successful ICBA Corporate Member.
  • Develop and foster ICBA’s brand in the fintech ecosystem to ensure access to best‑of‑breed solutions.
  • Monitor business results for portfolio companies and identify potential areas for improvements.
  • Develop strong working relationships cross‑functionally within the ICBA to explore opportunities to increase the success of the Think

    TECH companies.
  • Develop and manage oversight practices for the portfolio of ICBA Think

    TECH graduates.
  • Develop and manage the compilation of portfolio company performance information for internal reporting purposes.
  • Organize, create, actively communicate, and manage the calendar of events to ensure proper cadence of performance reporting.
  • Work with the SVP Innovation to create and develop innovation programs that serve stakeholders in both Fintech and Banking.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 12+ years of experience, including 8+ years of management experience. Previous accelerator leadership experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem with experience in both banking and growth‑stage fintech involvement.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Disciplined self‑starter with an internal drive to accomplish any mission put before them.
  • Proficiency in creating, managing, and analyzing financial reporting spreadsheets/data.
  • Inquisitive nature and constant learner seeking “what’s next.”
  • Knowledge of venture capital and fintech deal structure.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional composure, approachability, and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel (~20%) for innovation program leadership and recruiting for relevant program solutions.
Compensation And Benefits

ICBA offers competitive compensation and benefits and is conveniently located in the nation’s capital. The target annual salary range for this role is currently $99,000 to $159,000 based on a regular, full‑time schedule. The actual compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data, and internal equity.
