As a Dock Pusher, you'll be responsible for transporting fully stocked catering carts from theholding fridge to the outbound dock. Please note that we are a secure facility located in Concourse B of the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and you must obtain special clearance beforestarting. The process may take up to 6 weeks. Your recruiter will discuss itmore with you in the interview.

Required Responsibilities

• Fulfill icing needs for food carts.
• Sort carts by the production area and dockingarea.
• Comply with all safety rules and company standards.
• Communicate any concerns to the staff team and management.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.
• Other job duties may be assigned based onoperational need

Education/Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to show leadership.
• Must be able to stand on your feet all day andbe physically active.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.

The role of Dock Pusher at Newrest MLC is physically demanding. You must stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly and use your hands tohandle or feel. You must also lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment can be in an industrial Refrigerator or outside on the dock, withtemperatures ranging from Hot to very cold and noise levels varying frommoderate to very loud.
