Sr. Manager, Service Category Management (Exterior Renovations) – Atlanta
Leads the strategy, development, and performance of assigned service categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and financial goals. Partners with cross‑functional teams to optimize service offerings, pricing, vendor relationships, and execution strategies to enhance delivery and profitability.
Responsibilities- Develop key components of Line of Business programs to drive service expansion and growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to optimize service offerings and the service provider lifecycle.
- Strengthen field sales execution and service provider engagement by designing targeted training programs and collaborating with sales leadership to drive accountability.
- Align services and vendors by maintaining strong relationships and performance standards to achieve business goals and service expectations.
- Lead financial planning efforts, including sales analysis, gross margin tracking, and competitive benchmarking, to achieve annual profitability targets.
- Drive quality assurance by addressing compliance issues, resolving customer escalations, and monitoring service delivery metrics.
- Mentor direct reports, sales teams, and operations teams to foster professional growth and collaboration while contributing to high‑impact business projects.
- 5+ years of experience in category management, service operations, or a related field.
- Prior success selling or merchandising roofing and/or building products in a B2B, commercial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Previous financial analysis experience.
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience; may recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light items.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
