We are seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting to lead all aspects of the accounting function for a growing organization. This role oversees daily operations, drives a timely and accurate close, strengthens internal controls, and delivers high-quality financial reporting.
This is a hybrid position with on‑site work in West Midtown, Atlanta, three days weekly (Tuesday–Thursday). The Manager of Accounting will guide a team of accounting professionals while partnering closely with senior leadership to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while managing workloads and performance.
• Oversee preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and strong internal controls.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other key accounting outputs.
• Coordinate tax compliance activities and collaborate with external tax advisors.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support internal and external audits through documentation and coordination.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and core accounting processes.
• Proficiency with accounting platforms (Fresh Books, Quick Books, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in public accounting or outsourced accounting environments is a plus.

• Experience supporting high‑growth organizations.
• Process improvement or systems implementation experience.
