Perform routine, standardized housekeeping services within assigned building or area. This position interacts on a consistent basis with other custodial staff, including Quality Control Inspectors & Supervisors, and building/area occupants. The role typically advises and counsels: NA and does not supervise any staff.

• Provide housekeeping services within the assigned area, including emptying trash receptacles, dusting, spot cleaning, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, medical and food service care, restocking supplies, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Operate and maintain power equipment such as carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide-area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines, and other powered equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping/storage closets, tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Utilize prescribed safety equipment as required.
• Utilize chemicals and supplies in a safe and prescribed manner.
• Respond to work requests from building occupants and the department's service request system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Educational Requirements: Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required Experience: One year of job‑related experience.

  Qualifications:
  
  High school diploma or GED or Vocational School Diploma.
• Basic skills in the delivery of housekeeping services including operation of cleaning equipment and use of cleaning supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities required for the position include basic proficiency in operating cleaning equipment and handling cleaning supplies.
