Description
The primary purpose of the Core Clerk is to manage the incoming and outgoing dirty core inventory.
Responsibilities- Verify on a daily basis all credited dirty cores are accounted for either physically or as a pre-credited core.
- Inspect all dirty cores for damage or non-returnable conditions.
- Communicate with Parts Counter, Inventory Controller, or Parts Manager when dirty cores are missing or do not meet acceptable criteria.
- Organize and control all dirty cores while holding for return to suppliers.
- Prepare, pack and ship dirty core returns as allowed by suppliers.
- Keep up with all supplier's dirty core acceptance policies and procedures.
- Pull parts orders when work load demands.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Should possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Motor Vehicle Record must meet guidelines.
