Description

The Integral Group is sourcing for candidates in the following cities:
Atlanta, GA.

Primary Responsibility:
As a member of the Service Team, the Housekeeper’s main responsibility is to keep the property free from trash and maintain curb‑appeal to company standards. This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and keeping buildings tidy through tasks such as cleaning floors, walls, windows, furniture, kitchens, appliances, bathrooms, and fixtures.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Custodial Duties
  • Walk interior of property from front to back picking up any trash, cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other material daily.
  • Run compactor as needed if applicable.
  • Empty trashcans at mail house, laundry room, pool area, etc., as applicable, daily.
  • Regular cleaning of trash rooms or pressure washing of compactor rooms.
  • Maintain, clean, and organize storage areas under direction of Service Manager.
  • Vacuum floors and furnishings, mop hard surface floors, clean, dust, and polish furniture, clean walls and windows, disinfect kitchens and bathrooms, empty and sanitize waste baskets, clean ashtrays outside, and attend to laundry room duties.
  • Cover common areas and amenities to ensure all rooms are covered.
  • Maintain vacuums, cleaning caddies, and supplies used to perform the job.
  • Record supply inventory as directed by supervisor and inform supervisor when cleaning or house supplies are low.
  • Stock supplies as directed by supervisor.
  • Dust, vacuum, and clean office and office building. Water plants in the management office building.
  • Help remove trash from apartments after they are vacated.
  • Observe established policies and procedures. Follow the prescribed cleaning schedule as defined by supervisor.
  • Painting:
    Touch up interior paint as needed in common areas including railings, walls, stairwells, doors, etc.
  • Evictions:
    May be required to help move residents’ furniture and personal belongings during an eviction.
  • Occasional Duties:
    Assignments outside of routine work may be given by Property or Service Manager, and additional services may be provided during inspections.
  • Internal Policies:
    Follow and adhere to all company policies including Life/Safety, Mold and Mildew, Uniforms, Bedbugs, etc. Adhere to the handheld telephone policy and ensure phone is charged and operational daily.
  • Service Requests:
    Complete service requests as directed by the Service Manager, log and complete requests on mobile devices, and alert the Service Manager to any concerns noted in apartment homes that may require follow‑up after the initial request is completed.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Previous

    Work Experience:

    Entry‑level position. Prefer some experience including housekeeping. Experience in dealing with the general public is helpful.
  • Education / Training:
    High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Physical / Health /

    Schedule:

    General good health with the ability to climb ladders, enter attics, move appliances, and perform other normal activities associated with housekeeping. Personal grooming, dress, and appearances in keeping with normal expectations for maintenance professionals. Ability to assist the Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager in all duties, which may include flex hours outside of published office hours.
  • Continuing

    Education:

    Successful completion of all in‑house training programs related to the service level as defined in the IPM Management Service Policies and Procedures manual.
