Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair work. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and facilities maintenance practices. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Interpret schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Carry out residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic quality.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients regarding maintenance issues.

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with ohmmeters is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Experience in welding is a plus.
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable for leadership roles within the team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality work.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments is an advantage.
