• Performs skilled maintenance and repairs on equipment and accessories as required for the cost effective and efficient operation of the Community as directed by Supervisor, Board and Property Manager.
• Care and upkeep of buildings and grounds for the community.
• Completes minor repairs, i.e.: lighting, grounds, cleaning, plumbing, pool, locks, painting, and signage.
• Maintains work area, returns tools to proper location and reports any missing equipment to supervisor.
• Must have experience in repairing sheetrock and drywall.
• Must have knowledge of electrical repairs, including changing out light fixtures, ballasts, wall switches and timers.
• Must have good carpentry skills.
• May be required to perform emergency duties on a call-out basis on nights and weekends.
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and good memory.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Board or Property Manager.

• Knowledge of hand and power tools and equipment used to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Must be responsible, honest and reliable; able to attend work on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be practical and stay calm in an emergency.
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Must understand safe working practices as well as health and safety regulations.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass the Background Check and Drug Test.
• Must have a clean driving record for a minimum of 2 years. No tickets or accidents in the last 2 years.
• Must be able to work from ladders up to 40’ high.
• 5 years experience in general maintenance or building trades (preferred).

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and Outlook email.
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically gained through the acquisition of a high school diploma and/or GED.
