Job Summary

The International Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing regional supply chain guidance and support for sourcing/procurement and logistics, driving implementations to achieve the short and long-term business goals and supply chain objectives, as well as supporting key regionally based franchisees. The manager will develop strategies and plans to minimize costs and improve the consistency, availability and quality of international supply.

The International Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing regional supply chain guidance and support for sourcing/procurement and logistics, driving implementations to achieve the short and long-term business goals and supply chain objectives, as well as supporting key regionally based franchisees. The manager will develop strategies and plans to minimize costs and improve the consistency, availability and quality of international supply.

The Manager is expected to develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet the business needs of GoTo Foods. The Manager is entrusted with connecting field team members and operators to key stakeholders across the supply chain, and the organization, to deliver unique solutions. The Manager provides strategic feedback to the International Supply Chain Team and supports the field team and operators, and their restaurant teams for urgent and strategic supply chain issues and opportunities to support operators’ business growth.

Building effective relationships with the cross-functional team and operators is critical for the success of this role. The manager will accomplish this by partnering with the brand and support teams, and strategic business partners across the supply chain.

• Primary support and key regional supply chain point of contact for GoTo Foods International, the International Supply Chain Team and key regional vendors.
• Sources and negotiates pricing with regional/local and global vendors in their respective regions.
• Develops effective regional/local supply chain solutions in GoTo Foods strategic markets to reduce the overall cost of goods while maintaining brand quality standards.
• Drives the execution of new supply chains for new market entry and regional supply chains as regional scale is realized.
• Works with high degree of independence to make recommendations and decisions to connect operators to Supply Chain solutions.
• Owns the order/sourcing guides and updates for new brands and market launches
• Partners with multi-disciplinary/cross functional teams in implementing various new product innovations, operating models, business development opportunities, and market launch support.
• Executes cost savings initiatives, tracks and reports on the progress of the initiatives.
• Identify and engage with global food/beverage/equipment manufacturers and distributors; and drive the regional/local supplier sourcing and procurement category management.
• Ensure compliance and suitability of products for export into international markets.
• Category management and product development management – source new vendors and manage commercialization projects.
• Identify and engage with primary and secondary regional and local manufacturers; and drive COGs reduction (Cost of Goods Sold) for operators.
• As part of the International Supply Team, ensures that all new vendors meet GoTo Foods compliance requirements with executed non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s), quality assurance documentation/working with corporate QA toward approval, working with International Culinary toward product approval, and ensuring contracts are executed.
• Drive regional procurement activities to ensure consistent customer experience globally and to obtain lowest total cost for quality, delivery, service and innovation.
• Maintain up-to-date library of QA, legal, and other required paperwork for local & regional vendors.
• Provide troubleshooting support and communication with regional Franchisees/Operators on specific Supply Chain issues, initiatives and inquiries.
• Liaison with US supply chain team in obtaining vendor paperwork needed for export, contracts.
