As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a hands‑on Supply Chain Manager to help evolve and strengthen our supply chain capabilities.
This role offers a unique opportunity to establish structure, processes, and best practices in a critical function, while working closely with senior leadership to support long‑term scalability.
This position reports directly to the President and offers high visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact quickly.
The OpportunityThe supply chain function is at an important stage of development. While core operations are in place, there is a significant opportunity to standardize processes, strengthen vendor management, and introduce planning discipline that will support continued growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, clarifying workflows, and creating order —and who is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You’ll have the support and authority to implement improvements efficiently and see results in real time.
Position OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager will lead purchasing, inventory, vendor management, and warehouse operations to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer commitments. The role will define strategies around inventory levels, supplier relationships, and operational execution, while improving the effectiveness of existing ERP tools.
You will oversee a small, capable team and work cross‑functionally with production, sales, and logistics to align supply chain execution with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable supply chain processes aligned with production and business needs
- Establish consistent purchasing practices, payment terms, and vendor review cadences
- Introduce performance metrics and operating rhythms to support continuous improvement
- Lead strategic vendor relationships across the supply base
- Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQs, and service expectations
- Identify alternate suppliers and reduce single‑source risk
- Set and manage safety stock levels and reorder points using historical demand and sales forecasts
- Improve purchasing and planning discipline to support on‑time part availability
- Enhance inventory accuracy and material flow
- Lead buyers and warehouse operations, including kitting, shipping, and reporting
- Resolve supply issues and constraints through collaboration with internal teams
- Optimize ERP usage (SYSPRO) to support planning, reporting, and execution
- Track and report KPIs related to inventory, vendor performance, and service levels
- Partner closely with production, engineering, and leadership to support growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required
- Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, and inventory management
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross‑functional partners
- Proficiency with ERP systems;
SYSPRO 8.0 highly preferred - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable leading change and building new processes
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Familiarity with MRP concepts and inventory optimization
- Experience in regulated or quality‑driven manufacturing environments
