The Atlanta office of a sizable law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support two Partner-level attorneys in a commercial litigation practice, including class action matters. This is a fully onsite role suited for a detail-driven legal professional.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
  • Enter, review, and edit attorney time entries
  • Proof and edit client billings in accordance with firm and client guidelines
  • Coordinate new business intake, travel, expenses, and meetings
  • Maintain and organize files
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests, vendors, and couriers
  • Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong proofreading and attention to detail are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and client-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 5+ years of legal support experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some overtime may be required
