Attorney​/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This position focuses on plaintiff-side work, particularly in first-party property insurance disputes and civil litigation matters. As part of our team, you will play a key role in managing overflow tasks, ensuring timely and efficient handling of legal drafting, discovery responses, and motions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle drafting tasks such as responding to motions and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Collaborate with team members to manage overflow work and maintain case progress.
• Review and analyze first-party property insurance disputes, including claims related to coverage issues.
• Prepare detailed and accurate legal documents to support litigation efforts.
• Utilize federal court experience to navigate cases effectively within the jurisdiction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to provide updates and clarify case statuses.
• Support the team in maintaining organized case files and documentation.
• Work on plaintiff-side matters, advocating for clients in insurance-related disputes.

Requirements:

• Active bar license in the state of Georgia.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, with a strong understanding of first-party property insurance disputes.
• Familiarity with federal court processes and procedures.
• Exceptional legal drafting skills, including motions and discovery documentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong research skills to develop case strategies and arguments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in legal documentation and case management.
