Attorneys in the firm’s Transportation Practice are extensively involved in the defense of the trucking industry, representing freight carriers, transportation brokers, truck insurers, public entities, school bus operators, long- and short-haul truckers, and waste management groups engaged in both intrastate and interstate transportation. The practice has significant litigation and trial experience and has handled a broad range of issues prevalent in the industry, including negligent hiring and retention, hours-of-service compliance, Engine Control Module (ECM) data, messaging and positioning data, DOT compliance, and accident reconstruction.
Clients have benefited from strong case results through the firm’s handling of these matters.
Qualified candidates will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. Candidates must demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
