Overview
Assistant Legal Advisor (Assistant General Counsel) Office of Legal Affairs. Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, this position will provide clear, practical legal counsel on a wide range of business and higher education matters, with primary responsibility for drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, student matters, employment matters, and advancement/fundraising. In addition, the position will advise on employment law and policy development.
Successful candidates will bring strong business judgment and creativity to the Office of Legal Affairs.
JD from an ABA accredited law School and at least one year of relevant experience.

- Licensed to practice law or able to become licensed in the State of Georgia within one year of employment
- Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements

- Team player with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of business and legal partners
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high volume office
