An Atlanta-based litigation boutique is seeking a Litigation Associate to support its healthcare and professional liability defense practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who has developed a solid foundation in complex litigation and is ready to take on greater responsibility in sophisticated, document-intensive matters.
The associate will play an active role throughout the lifecycle of cases, including fact development, discovery strategy, motion practice, and deposition preparation. The firm’s matters often involve detailed medical records and expert-driven issues, providing strong exposure for attorneys who enjoy analytical work and hands-on litigation experience.
What You’ll Work On- Managing written discovery and coordinating document review
- Analyzing medical records and working with experts
- Drafting substantive motions, pleadings, and memoranda
- Preparing for and participating in depositions and hearings
- Collaborating closely with senior attorneys on case strategy
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Georgia bar license, in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally within medical malpractice defense or complex civil litigation
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Boutique practice with meaningful trial exposure
- Direct access to experienced litigators and mentorship
