Overview

This is a hybrid role requiring two days in the office and three days remote each week. Fridays are designated as an in-office day. The Edwards Law Group is at an exciting inflection point. We're scaling our practice to serve high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and executives facing complex family law matters, and we need a fearless, strategic senior attorney to handle sophisticated litigation and negotiation work in a flexible hybrid work environment.

This isn't your typical family law position. We're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, thinks strategically, and has the intelligence and independence to handle high-stakes litigation and non-litigation cases that other firms may shy away from. Our hybrid model allows you to balance courtroom presence and client meetings with the flexibility to work remotely when strategic focus is needed.

Responsibilities

What You ll Actually Be Doing

• Leading High-Value, Complex Cases:
  Handle sophisticated family law matters involving complex asset division ($5M+ estates), business valuations, executive compensation packages, stock options, and multi-jurisdictional custody disputes; own cases from strategy through trial and settlement with full autonomy; lead contested hearings, trials, and complex litigation matters as first chair; navigate high-value settlement negotiations and mediations when strategic for client objectives; draft advanced pleadings, motions, sophisticated legal memos, and trial briefs;
