Responsibilities- Draft and review contracts, including legal terms and conditions as well as scope and fee language.
- Assist with review of contracts for M&A due diligence.
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and monitoring legislation that impacts the company's services and/or processes.
- Assist as needed in implementing changes to contracts.
- Assist corporate attorneys as needed in legal research.
- Support and assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- A bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certification are both required.
- Advanced knowledge of contracts and legal terms.
- Proficiency in electronic uploading and organization of documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Proficiency in Westlaw.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail, as well as organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to discretely handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize conflicts of interest in a corporate environment.
- Experience with professional services in the Engineering/Architecture industry is preferred.
- State Notary is preferred.
