Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Our client located in Midtown Atlanta is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Family Law Practice.
Family Law Litigation Paralegal
- Direct-Hire, Permanent Position
- Salary: $60-80K Base Salary (Flexible Depending on Experience)
- Bonuses Based on Performance and Great Benefits Package with 401K and Profit Sharing
- Hybrid Schedule (Ideally In-Office 3 days Week/WFH 2 days)
- Office Located in Heart of Midtown Atlanta
Summary: You will support their Partner/Attorney directly. The team is professional, collaborative, and values steady, detail-oriented support. Paralegals here are trusted partners—relied on to manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and most importantly a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, uniform support declarations, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
- Organize and manage electronic discovery processes including document collection, indexing, and summarizing responses.
- Upload and download e-discovery using Share File and Drop Box.
- Prepare case files and exhibit binders for hearings, mediations, and trials, ensuring all supporting documents are accurate and complete.
- Maintain close communication with clients to gather information, provide updates, and assist with document completion.
- File legal documents with courts via e-filing systems and ensure proper service to all parties.
- Manage confidential client information with discretion and comply with legal and ethical obligations.
- Monitor and maintain case files, both physical and electronic, to ensure organization and accessibility.
- Prepare asset and liability statements on Excel.
- Prepare exhibits for trial including summaries of data.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal required
- Experience in Georgia family law preferred
- Experienced with trial prep
- Ability to work with various personality types, and adaptability
- Must be highly organized, able to work independently, multi-task, prioritize, and be a strong communicator
