Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
We are partnering with a reputable law firm seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who can support attorneys, manage administrative tasks, and keep cases running smoothly in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals
- Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, memos, and legal documents
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate hearings, depositions, and court filings
- Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and hard copy
- Handle client communications with professionalism and confidentiality
- Assist with time entry, billing, and document management
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics
- Support attorneys with general office and case-related tasks as needed
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary (litigation experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of Georgia court filing procedures and legal terminology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professionalism
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a legal team
