The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to play a central role in guiding families through probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters. This position is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who values ownership of their work, strong client relationships, and high-quality legal support.
You will manage cases from start to finish, serve as a steady point of contact for clients, and work closely with attorneys to ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Manage probate, guardianship, and conservatorship cases from initiation through resolution
- Draft and finalize petitions, pleadings, and supporting documents
- Track deadlines and ensure timely, accurate court filings
- Prepare attorneys for hearings, including document organization and court-ready materials
- Communicate directly with clients by phone and email, providing updates and procedural guidance
- Provide backup client support as needed to maintain a high level of service
- Maintain organized, accurate records within the firm’s case management system
- 2–5 years of Georgia probate experience preferred
- Experience with guardian ships and conservatorships preferred
- Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a client-facing role, including sensitive matters
- Confident managing caseload with minimal oversight
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and law firm CRMs (Actionstep or similar)
