Corporate​/M&A Associate

I’m working with a premier Am Law–caliber firm seeking an associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Business Group in their Atlanta, GA office. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and a broad range of general corporate matters, for sophisticated clients.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of substantive M&A and corporate transactional experience
• Am Law 100 experience strongly preferred
• J.D. from a nationally recognized, accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Admission to the Georgia Bar, eligibility to waive in, or willingness to sit for the Georgia Bar exam
• Strong working knowledge of general corporate law, including entity formation, governance, and choice-of-entity considerations

The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on M&A experience, including managing and coordinating due diligence, drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents, and overseeing closings and post-closing matters. Experience with joint ventures and commercial contracts is advantageous.
