Junior to Mid-Level Fintech Associate - Atlanta
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, offers a full-time Associate position for 2–5 years of experience in Payments/Fintech, Government Investigation, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, Litigation, and Consumer Protection. The Associate will report to Shareholders in the Atlanta office and play a key role in advising fintech clients across the country.
Responsibilities
- Advising fintech companies on corporate, capital markets, commercial transactions, intellectual property, financial services regulatory, compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters.
- Managing and resolving legal and regulatory issues for early‑stage disruptors to large global fintech firms.
- Conducting litigation support, discovery, and class‑action work related to fintech matters.
- Providing client service, writing briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Collaboration on cross‑border transactions and regulatory strategies.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the specified practice areas.
- Bar admission in a state where the candidate wishes to practice and good standing.
- Strong writing and communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience with data privacy, payments, fintech regulations, and government investigations.
- Preferred: federal clerkship experience.
