Property and Liability Coverage Attorney
Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) – a leading national defense firm – seeks a dedicated attorney with 3‑10 years of experience in property and liability coverage to join its Property and Liability Coverage Practice Group.
Ideal candidates specialize in defending against all types of property and liability coverage work and are passionate about advocating for clients in court, mediation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret commercial and residential property and general liability insurance policies.
- Draft detailed and well-reasoned coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters.
- Advise insurers and clients on coverage obligations and potential exposure.
- Handle and manage coverage litigation from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings, including depositions and hearings.
- Stay current on relevant legal developments, case law, and regulatory changes affecting property and liability coverage.
- Collaborate with claims professionals, risk managers, and other attorneys within the firm or insurance companies.
- Participate in internal training and external client presentations on insurance coverage issues.
