Insurance Defense Attorney - Medical Malpractice

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong background in medical malpractice litigation to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in defending healthcare providers, hospitals, and insurance carriers in complex medical malpractice cases.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all phases of medical malpractice litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and clarity.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies tailored to each case.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams regarding case status and strategy.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work product.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in [Insert State].
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on medical malpractice.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and medical malpractice laws.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and trial skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience handling high-exposure cases and working with healthcare experts.
• Prior trial experience in medical malpractice defense.
