Junior Corporate M&A Associate – Atlanta
Location: Atlanta, GA
Experience: 1–2 Years PQE | Corporate & M&A Focus
A corporate practice is seeking a junior associate (1–2 years PQE) to join its Atlanta office focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. The role offers hands‑on experience with due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and coordinating closings alongside a skilled corporate team.
Key Responsibilities- Support M&A transactions, including diligence, drafting, and closings
- Assist with general corporate matters, joint ventures, and commercial contracts
- Advise on entity formation, governance, and related corporate law issues
- Collaborate with team members to manage fast‑paced workloads and client deliverables
- 1–2 years of M&A and corporate experience at a law firm
- Strong academic record and research/writing skills
- Admitted to practice in Georgia, eligible to waive in, or willing to sit for the Georgia Bar
- Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration skills
