Job Description
Attorney - Litigation Associate
A boutique law firm specializing in the representation of community associations is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its community association litigation practice. The firm's litigation work focuses on community association disputes and real estate-related litigation.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation cases from initiation through resolution, including:
- Drafting pleadings
- Managing discovery
- Preparing and arguing motions
- Conducting hearings and mediations
- Participating in trials
- Advise clients on:
- Covenant enforcement
- Contract matters
- Title disputes
- Insurance defense
- Other community association-related litigation issues
- Manage case deadlines, court filings, and client expectations
- Maintain strong client communication and build long-term relationships
- Engage in networking with clients and industry professionals
- Collaborate closely with an experienced support team
- Experience in civil litigation preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
- Must be admitted to practice law in the relevant state
