Property and Liability Coverage Practice Group

At QPWB, our Property and Liability Coverage Practice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and analysis regarding insurance policy coverage issues, primarily in the areas of property and general liability. This position involves interpreting and evaluating complex insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and representing insurers in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions.

• Analyzeandinterpretcommercialandresidentialpropertyandgeneralliabilityinsurancepolicies.
• Draftdetailedandwell-reasonedcoverageopinions,reservationofrightsletters,anddeclinationletters.
• Adviseinsurersandclientsoncoverageobligationsandpotentialexposure.
• Handleandmanagecoveragelitigationfrominceptionthroughresolution,includingpleadings,discovery,motionpractice,andtrialpreparation.
• Representclientsinmediations,arbitrations,andcourtproceedings,includingdepositionsandhearings.
• Staycurrentonrelevantlegaldevelopments,caselaw,andregulatorychangesaffectingpropertyandliabilitycoverage.
• Collaboratewithclaimsprofessionals,riskmanagers,andotherattorneys audiencia.
• Participate in internal training and external client presentations on insurance coverage issues.
