A newly established insurance producer entity, backed by well-established international financial institutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Insurance Producer to support our licensing, compliance, and operational activities in Georgia.
This individual may also serve as the Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) for the entity, ensuring compliance with Georgia insurance regulations and supporting insurance sales and administrative operations across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the company’s Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP), if qualified and appointed.
- Ensure full compliance with Georgia Department of Insurance laws and regulations.
- Oversee or support insurance sales, solicitation, and policy administration activities.
- Maintain accurate licensing, regulatory, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with state insurance regulators and manage related communications.
- Assist in the onboarding and supervision of additional producers, helping to establish and enhance compliance protocols.
- Monitor and manage continuing education and license renewals.
- Partner with internal departments (Corporate Planning, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Documentation, and Operations) to ensure smooth execution of projects and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Active Georgia Insurance Producer License (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health preferred).
- Good standing with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Solid understanding of producer licensing and compliance requirements, particularly in Georgia.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience serving as a DRLP or in a compliance oversight role.
- Familiarity with multi-state licensing processes and NIPR systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
