Sr. Account Manager – Commercial Lines

USI Insurance Services is hiring a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage 20 to 40 mid-to-large sized Commercial Lines insurance accounts in Atlanta. The role involves new and renewal marketing, client support, carrier negotiations, and cross‑sell initiatives.
Responsibilities- Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients.
- Offer insurance technical expertise to clients and the Account Management team.
- Market and place client Commercial Lines insurance renewals.
- Prepare client applications, assess carrier pricing, compare quotes, and recommend insurance programs.
- Manage client renewal expirations to avoid coverage lapses.
- Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients and process policies, endorsements, and audits.
- Champion client cross‑sell initiatives, develop customer accounts, and represent client interests in internal USI strategy meetings.
- Delegate administrative tasks to assigned Account Representatives and respond to underwriter questions professionally.
- Maintain high accuracy in agency management systems and attend face‑to‑face client meetings regularly.
- 5+ years experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
- College degree preferred and a current Property & Casualty license or willingness to earn one.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance and industry designations (ARM, CIC, CPCU) preferred.
- Proficiency with internet‑based programs and Microsoft Office products; knowledge of Sagitta / Image Right a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team environment with minimal instruction and continuous learning of industry trends.
