- Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their business insurance needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments, identifying potential risks and developing tailored insurance solutions.
- Leading the marketing process, including the preparation of comprehensive insurance proposals that meet client needs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their business insurance needs and risk‑management strategies.
- Monitoring industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure clients’ insurance programs remain compliant and effective.
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Delivering exceptional client service, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
- 7‑10 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage or agency, with a focus on marketing, consulting, and risk management.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of business insurance clients and delivering high‑quality service.
- Deep understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Exceptional relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective insurance solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Stayed effective in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Professional insurance designation (e.g., CIC, CPCU, ARM) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
