About the role

As a Personal Injury Protection Team Lead you will support a claims manager while driving operational effectiveness through technology and analytics. You will manage a rideshare PIP auto claims adjusting staff, balancing management responsibilities and individual contributor duties.

What we need

  • Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients and customers
Responsibilities (Job Duties)
  • Act as backup/leader when the Manager is out of office
  • Direct report responsibility (average 3 reports)
  • Handle claims at desk level (60% of typical claim load)
  • Oversee initial onboarding tasks and new‑hire cultural immersion
  • Assist with moderate reserve reviews and payment authority
  • Identify trends for team huddles and elevated claims workshops
  • Champion customer obsession and a customer‑centric mindset
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Active insurance adjuster’s license in a designated home state
  • Willingly obtain all required licenses within 60 days, including state testing
  • 5+ years of PIP and medical payments claims experience across multiple lines
  • 1+ year of team lead or mentoring experience
  • Rideshare claims experience preferred
  • Comfortable with technology and evolving claims systems for efficiency
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and detail
  • Integrity, ethics, and accountability in handling confidential information
