Job Title: Power BI Governance & Data Catalog Analyst (Contract)
Location: Hybrid Atlanta, GA (2 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Summary:
Seeking a consultant to manage Power BI governance, data catalog, and data lineage across enterprise BI environments. This role will standardize reporting, improve metadata visibility, and enable trusted self-service analytics.
- Implement Power BI governance (work spaces, access, certification, usage monitoring)
- Maintain data catalog & metadata documentation
- Document end-to-end data lineage from source to report
- Configure security (RLS) and support audit/compliance needs
- Work with data engineering and business stakeholders
- Strong Power BI Service administration/governance experience
- Experience with data catalog tools (Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, etc.)
- Data lineage documentation experience
- SQL and understanding of data warehouse/lake environments
- Good stakeholder communication skills
