Data Center Project Manager (Low Voltage)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to oversee the execution of low voltage infrastructure installations within mission-critical data center environments throughout the Atlanta market. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations related to structured cabling, rack and stack deployments, pathway installation, and network infrastructure integration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing installation teams performing structured cabling and hardware deployments in live or greenfield data center environments, with the ability to coordinate project timelines, subcontractors, and technical resources to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution of low voltage installation activities within data center environments
- Oversee structured cabling installation including fiber optic and copper (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A) infrastructure
- Coordinate rack and stack deployment of network hardware, cabinets, PDUs, ladder rack, and containment systems
- Supervise installation teams responsible for pathway systems (ladder tray, basket tray, conduit, etc.)
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with site safety standards
- Review project documentation including Statements of Work (SOW), installation drawings, and MOPs
- Coordinate material delivery schedules and installation sequencing with field teams and vendors
- Manage subcontractors and installation technicians on site
- Facilitate daily standups, progress tracking, and reporting to internal stakeholders and clients
- Support commissioning and turnover processes including punch list resolution
- Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality standards and installation guidelines
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Project Management experience within data center or mission-critical environments
- Experience managing low voltage or structured cabling installation projects
- Familiarity with rack and stack deployments of IT/network equipment
- Experience working in active data center environments
- Strong understanding of installation best practices for fiber and copper infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret installation drawings and project documentation
- Experience managing subcontractors and field technicians
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center deployments
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management training
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Knowledge of DC power infrastructure and network hardware installation
- Previous experience managing large-scale infrastructure or capacity projects
- Work performed within active or under-construction data center environments
- May require extended periods of standing, walking, and use of PPE
- Adherence to all site safety and operational procedures is required
