Job SummaryThe Associate Director of Information Technology will manage the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that technology services align with the institution's strategic direction. This role includes leading IT staff, developing and enforcing policies, and guiding the adoption of innovative technology solutions to improve institutional performance. Additionally, the role includes setting team goals, designing effective organizational structures, evaluating performance, providing feedback, making compensation decisions, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Job Duty 1 - Oversee the daily operations of the information technology department, ensuring that all technology services and support are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Job Duty 2 - Develop and implement Information Technology policies and procedures that align with institutional goals and promote best practices in technology management.
- Job Duty 3 - Manage and mentor Information Technology staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development and performance.
- Job Duty 4 - Coordinate the planning and execution of Information Technology projects, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that timelines are met.
- Job Duty 5 - Assess the technology needs of the institution and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
