KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Executive Strategy and Operations Lead to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives and operational matters for the Digital Nexus organization supporting Global Delivery within the Emerging Products & Services environment of emerging AI technologies, platform builds and engineering-heavy operations
- Lead special projects and internal initiatives as directed by the Emerging Products & Services (EPS) Leader; unify the various Technology leaders who report to the EPS Leader to ensure all strategic initiatives are in alignment with corporate objectives
- Prepare presentations and manage communication plans to keep EPS leadership and senior stakeholders informed of priorities and updates working in close alignment with the office of the Chief Digital Officer (CDO)
- Empower to act on behalf of the EPS Leader when necessary which includes serving as an official delegate in various capacities and having the authority to make critical, risk-based decisions to maintain momentum and progress on key initiatives, and resilience/AI risk alignment as dependencies grow
- Responsible for financial stewardship (recoverability, funding models, headcount strategy)
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the EPS/Digital Nexus organization; work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to spark innovative ideas, improve communication, and ensure the successful execution of projects that define the organization's technological landscape
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in IT, Engineering or related field having performed in leadership roles, demonstrating the resilience to thrive in high-pressure, business-critical environments while navigating a complex, multi-source demand model
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in information systems, computer science, business administration, information management, engineering is preferred;
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Professional qualifications such as ITIL, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, SAFe, or Microsoft certifications are considered - Exhibit a strong strategic, analytical, and structured mindset with a deep understanding of the industry and business models with experience standing up operating models preferred; problem-solver who can create order out of chaos and use informed decision-making to contribute directly to the development and execution of organizational strategy
- Results-driven, expert organizer and project planner who consistently looks ahead to anticipate needs; demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional initiatives by using strong coordination skills to prioritize activities, multitask, and meet deadlines in demanding environments with evolving requirements
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with proven ability to navigate and manage relationships with C-level executives and diverse cross-functional teams; experience effectively leading business discussions to build consensus and achieve clear, documented outcomes
- Proficient in enterprise technologies, infrastructure architecture, and modern AI tools. Combines practical experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Dev Ops methodologies; possess documented experience with ITIL processes and Modern Service Management frameworks (SLAs, KPIs); demonstrated expertise in cost, risk, and process management, with a strong affinity for frameworks
