Expertise in Salesforce Platform:

  • The candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, with a specific focus on Salesforce Health Cloud as the organization's new data model for managing doctors and clients.
  • Responsibilities include architecting solutions across two Salesforce orgs: one for core services (staffing) and another for value-based care (patient-centric).
  • The role requires ensuring that solutions align with Salesforce best practices and leverage Health Cloud's capabilities to support business processes like clinician onboarding, credentialing, and scheduling.
  • The candidate should be able to guide technical teams on platform configurations, customizations, and integrations, acting as a subject matter expert who can "out-school” others, including James, on Health Cloud specifics.
Interpersonal Skills for Collaboration:
  • The architect will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including product specialists (e.g., Natalie Deranger), product owners, business teams (e.g., marketing, sales, recruitment, credentialing, contracting, and enrollment), and offshore development teams.
  • Responsibilities include facilitating communication between technical and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • The role demands an outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills to manage dependencies across teams and systems (e.g., Mule Soft, Workday, Service Now, and Inquira for scheduling/credentialing).
  • The candidate must be comfortable driving collaboration, resolving conflicts respectfully, and fostering a "player-coach” culture where team members roll up their sleeves to solve problems.
Enterprise Architecture Skills:
  • The architect is expected to bring expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or similar, to design scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Responsibilities include participating in or leading Enterprise Architecture Review Board (ERB) processes to ensure solutions align with the organization's overall technical strategy.
  • The role involves defining and documenting architectural standards, ensuring solutions integrate seamlessly with the broader tech stack (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Mule Soft, Snowflake, and AI tools).
  • The candidate will validate architectural decisions, ensuring they support long-term business goals, such as moving away from legacy systems and adopting a cutting-edge tech stack.
Interface and Validate Work with Offshore Teams:
  • The architect will oversee product work handed off to offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business requirements.
  • Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore developers, providing clear technical guidance and validating deliverables (e.g., through QA processes).
  • The role requires triaging issues, reporting progress or blockers to James, and ensuring offshore work adheres to Agile methodologies for iterative delivery.
  • The candidate must manage dependencies between Salesforce and other systems (e.g., Inquira for scheduling/credentialing), ensuring smooth integration and data flow across platforms.
Driving Product Enhancements and Operations:
  • The architect will take ownership of driving product enhancements within Salesforce, ensuring new features and improvements are prioritized and implemented effectively.
  • Responsibilities include working with product specialists to curate and prioritize a backlog of enhancements, ensuring they align with the organization's clinician, client, and patient lifecycle processes.
  • The role involves operational oversight, such as triaging issues, coordinating with offshore teams, and ensuring enhancements are delivered on time for critical deadlines (e.g., November go-live).
JOB PROFILE:

The Architect plays a critical role in leading the design, integration, and implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for enterprise healthcare clients.
