Network​/Data Engineer; Programming & Automation

We are seeking a Network/Data Engineer with strong programming and automation expertise to support project-based initiatives in a team-driven environment. This role focuses heavily on network automation, scripting, and infrastructure lifecycle support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python-based network automation frameworks and strong Linux/scripting capabilities.

  Bedminster, Warrenville/Chicago, Bridgeton/St. Louis
• Duration: 36+ Months Contract
• Rate Range: $40 — $47/hr on W2
• Employment Type:
  
  Only W2 candidates, No C2C

• Experience working on project-based initiatives within a team environment
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with at least 2 of the following:
  Netmiko, PyATS, PyEZ, Napalm
• Ansible IT automation experience
• Linux experience with shell scripting

• Experience with new build configuration on Cisco IOS or Junos OS
• Strong Routing/L3 experience (Provisioning, Lifecycle Management, Troubleshooting)
• MPLS VPN Architecture experience (P, PE, CE)
• Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA certification (or higher)

• Strong hands-on experience in network automation and scripting
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
• Ability to work flexible schedules including occasional night shifts
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
