Senior DataStage Consultant

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Senior Data Stage Consultant with strong SQL expertise and hands‑on experience integrating enterprise data platforms with Data Fabric solutions using internal and external APIs. The ideal candidate is highly self‑driven, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and experienced in designing scalable, secure, and high‑performance data integration solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflows using IBM Info Sphere Data Stage.
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Integrate enterprise data platforms with Data Fabric architectures.
• Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs (internal and external) for data ingestion and distribution.
• Design API‑based data pipelines ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with architecture and data governance teams to align with enterprise standards.
• Perform data mapping, transformation logic development, and validation.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize ETL and database workloads.
• Provide production support and participate in release/deployment activities.
• Work independently to drive deliverables from requirements through implementation.

• 7+ years of experience in IBM Info Sphere Data Stage development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 – specify as needed).
• Hands‑on experience integrating with Data Fabric platforms.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML payloads.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL design patterns.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, token‑based auth, etc.).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Must be onsite at client in Atlanta, Georgia 2‑3 days/week.

The starting hourly range for this role is around $60 to $65. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
