The Security Analyst I support the Information Security Governance and Compliance program through administrative, monitoring, documentation, and coordination activities. This entry-level role focuses on data accuracy, ticket tracking, compliance evidence collection, and security alert monitoring under supervision.
This position assists in maintaining regulatory compliance (including PCI-DSS) and supports security operations through structured processes and documentation management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Governance & Compliance Support- Assist with PCI-DSS documentation, evidence gathering, and audit preparation.
- Maintain compliance records and inspection tracking in Jira and related systems.
- Support tri-annual and annual inspection preparation activities.
- Track and document security awareness and PCI training compliance.
- Assist in maintaining policy and procedure documentation.
- Monitor security alert communications and elevate per documented procedure.
- Document incidents and findings in Jira.
- Assist in vulnerability management tracking
- Maintain inventory records for security devices and payment systems.
- Support POI database updates and lifecycle tracking
- Assist with documentation for physical and virtual asset tracking
- Support security investigations through research and documentation gathering.
- Document and tack audit findings and remediation efforts within Jira and Service Now
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate documentation and task completion.
- Assist with tool evaluations and vendor information collection.
- Perform other administrative and security support duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of information security principles.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira/Service Now) preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow defined processes and escalation paths.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks.
