Compensation:
- Permanent Conversion: $150K–$160K base
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Telecom Architect to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale CCaaS and omni-channel communications platforms. This is a high-impact, highly visible role responsible for modernizing legacy environments, unifying platforms, and driving innovation across voice, digital, and AI-enabled customer interaction channels.
You’ll serve as the senior technical authority for cloud and hybrid telecom architecture, large-scale integrations, analytics, and long-term roadmap planning—playing a critical role in improving user experience and enabling business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architecture, strategy, and implementation of enterprise CCaaS and omni-channel platforms
- Drive modernization efforts from legacy telecom/contact center systems to cloud-based solutions
- Own cloud and hybrid telecom architecture across voice, chat, and digital channels
- Design and oversee complex integrations between CCaaS platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and enterprise infrastructure
- Act as senior technical authority, setting architectural standards and best practices
Mentor and guide telecom and contact center engineering teams - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology strategy with business goals
- Define and evolve long-term technology roadmap, analytics, and reporting capabilities
- 7–10+ years of enterprise-level CCaaS and omni-channel architecture experience
- Proven experience designing and leading implementations across voice, chat, and digital channels
- Hands‑on expertise with platforms such as Genesys, NICE CXone, Five9, Amazon Connect, Teams Phone, or similar
- Strong background in cloud and hybrid telecom architectures (Azure and/or AWS)
- Experience leading migrations from legacy systems to modern CCaaS and unified communications platforms
- Deep knowledge of SIP/VoIP, SBCs, carrier services, and telecom integrations
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring engineers and setting architectural standards
- IVR and IVA experience with a strong focus on AI, NLP, and automation
- Background in advanced systems design and large-scale integrations
- Experience using AI to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
