3C Software, a leader in implementing advanced costing and profitability solutions, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Application Specialist to join our professional services team in Atlanta, GA. Our flagship product, Impact

ECS, is an enterprise costing & profitability platform that empowers businesses to optimize their financial performance and gain valuable insights.

As an Application Specialist, you will work directly with our clients to configure and deploy Impact

ECS for companies around the world. You’ll develop accounting models for use by finance, operations, and executive teams who need access to detailed cost accounting and profitability information. This role offers an excellent opportunity to blend technical expertise with business acumen while making a significant contribution to our clients’ success.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop cost and profitability models for clients across various industries
• Architect integration solutions between Impact
  
  ECS and clients’ existing systems (ERP, MES, PLM, shop‑floor, etc.)
• Manage 3C Software resources and personnel on client engagements
• Interact with client management teams on project timelines, resources, and scope
• Perform system performance tuning, report writing, and documentation
• Work with global companies in industries including semiconductor, food & beverage, pulp & paper, textile, steel, and chemicals
• Be willing to travel to client locations (10-40%) in the US and occasionally internationally

You’re the Perfect Fit If:

• You have 5+ years of experience leading software implementation engagements
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree (concentrations in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics, or Computer Science preferred)
• You possess proficient technical skills working with SQL databases
• You’re self‑motivated and work well in team environments
• You demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
• You can translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
• You’re comfortable working directly with clients and managing implementation projects

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in cost accounting or business operations
• Programming experience
• Knowledge of traditional ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MAPICS)
• Experience implementing enterprise software solutions
• Understanding of manufacturing and/or distribution business processes
